Ryerson Lifeline Syria Challenge – Roots to Routes FUNdraiser
DANCES FOR DONATIONS at Dovercourt House helps the Ryerson Lifeline Syria Challenge group Roots to Routes sponsor a Syrian refugee family for the year! From January 25-31 (and a few good things before and after!) part or all of the funds you spend to dance will help us to raise our $30,000 goal.
Here’s how it works:
SPREAD THE WORD FAR AND WIDE!
Send this to everyone! The goal is both to raise funds AND to invite new people into the rich and diverse communities that already exist at DC House.
GET AN ALL-ACCESS PASS:
For AWESOME ones who donate $100 or more, you will get an ALL ACCESS PASS to come dance at any participating event during the fundraising week! Swingers can learn contact improv. Ecstatic dancers can do some zumba or waltz. You get the idea. This requires a pre-registration, so contact Barb Sniderman at bsniderman@hotmail.com or through her facebook to register.
BRING YOUR CHECKBOOK OR A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS FOR A CHARITABLE DONATION TAX DEDUCTABLE RECEIPT:
All donations of $20 or more are eligible receive a charitable donation receipt, so please consider this, even if access to the actual event costs less. Simply provide your contact information along with cash or cheque so we know where to send it and our thanks. You can even donate online. Contact Barb for details (see above). We will have sheets on site to make it easy for you, and a donation jar we are hoping to FILL.

There are varying levels of participation depending on the dance community involved. Below you will see a schedule of events (with participating dance groups) that indicates what, when, how much it costs, how much is donated, and links for more details.
